Colin Druhan
Executive Director, Pride at Work Canada
Colin Druhan is a business strategist with more than fifteen years of experience working with queer, trans and Two-Spirit communities. He is the Executive Director of Pride at Work Canada, an organization that empowers workplaces to celebrate all employees regardless of their gender expression, gender identity and sexual orientation. In 2019 Colin was the youngest person ever named a finalist for the Canadian LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce’s Business Leader of the Year Award. In 2020 he was named a CivicAction DiverseCity Fellow, joining a prestigious group of leaders who are passionate about shaping their communities within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. In addition to his role with Pride at Work Canada, he is Vice Chair of Volunteer Toronto, Canada’s largest volunteer centre, and he serves on the Advisory Board of the Diversity Institute at the Ted Rogers School of Management. He participates as a mentor in both Jumpstart Refugee Talent’s Welcome Talent Canada program and The Enchanté Network’s mentorship program, which offers support to those building and operating Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ community organizations. He frequently shares his expertise through public speaking and in writing for publications like HR Professional and IN Magazine. Originally from Cole Harbour, NS, he has lived in Ontario for over fifteen years, during which time he has worked and volunteered with organizations such as the Toronto International Film Festival, The 519, the Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film & Video Festival and the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation. Colin received a BFA from NSCAD University in Halifax, NS and a Graduate Certificate in Arts Management from Humber College in Toronto, ON.
