Cameron Burke is a seasoned operator, and advisor with over 20 years of experience in scaling technology companies and leading them from concept to successful exits. He has co-founded and exited two tech companies and scaled another to IPO. Cam’s expertise spans capital raising, operations, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and deal-making, making him a versatile leader with a proven track record in accelerating growth.
Throughout his career, Cam has worked alongside some of Canada’s top innovators and investors, gaining deep expertise across various sectors, including Digital Health/Healthtech, CleanTech, FinTech, AI, and AI. His ability to support the financial and strategic needs of entrepreneurs at every stage of their business journey has made him a trusted advisor in the tech ecosystem.
Cam holds a degree from the University of Victoria and currently serves as Partner at Fort Capital Partners, where he leads their Technology & Innovation Banking practice. Prior to joining Fort Capital, Cam held leadership roles at PwC Canada, Hootsuite, and several other tech companies. His background in corporate development, M&A, and value creation has been instrumental in driving growth and international expansion for a wide range of businesses.
In addition to his professional achievements, Cam is actively involved in the community as a Board Director for the Museum of Vancouver, The Seedlings Foundation and has previously served as Vice Chairman & Treasurer for BC Tech and UNESCO. He is a regular contributor to publications such as Betakit and the Canadian Healthcare Network, and was recognized as one of Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40.
