Suppliers are an integral component to most mining companies. However, with the increased use and dependencies on technology, suppliers can and have introduced additional risks to their clients. This talk is going to discuss the challenges of managing modern risks at scale and how the MM-ISAC in collaboration with Mirai Security have developed a centralized threat-based approach to assessing supplier risk and reduce friction during procurement.

The mission of the Mining and Metals ISAC is to improve cyber security of mining through the sharing of timely threat information. Learn about the historical trends of cyber related incidents and adversaries affecting the mining sector that led up to the banding together of mining companies to form the Mining and Metals ISAC, and the tactics and threat actors targeting the mining sector and supply chain partners.
