Chris Allen is the General Manager of Information Technology at Save-On-Foods. He is a strategic and results-oriented leader with over 18 years experience leading technology-driven business transformation. In his role, Chris is responsible for all aspects of Save-On-Food’s technology strategy and operations, with a current focus on modernization of core systems and iterative improvement of the digital customer experience. Known as a change-catalyst, Chris firmly believes that results are best achieved by building strong relationships and strategic alignment between IT and business.

John has been in the retail industry for over 30 years. His official title at lululemon is Enterprise Architect with a focus on Cybersecurity. He develops security strategy, assesses security posture, and articulates risk to teams across the enterprise. He also enjoys entertaining folks with his amateur magician skills.

Dave MacIver is Aritzia’s CIO, with oversight of information technology and the project management office. Mr. MacIver joined us in 2005 and throughout his tenure has selected and implemented the critical technologies supporting Aritzia’s growth and operations, most notably, the data centre build (2014), the launch of our eCommerce business (2012), implementation of our warehouse management system (2012) and implementation of our enterprise resource planning system (2008). Previously, he spent 10 years at the third largest global cement producer where he developed a telemetry and GPS system that was used on over 2,000 vehicles and implemented enterprise resource planning systems and dispatch systems across a number of North American companies. Mr. MacIver studied engineering at the University of Alberta and computer science at the University of Athabasca.

Eve is a globally recognized strategist, innovator, and communicator on digital identity, security, privacy, and consent, with a passion for fostering successful ecosystems and individual empowerment. She has 20 years of experience leading standards such as SAML and User-Managed Access and publishing research in the field, and has also served as a Forrester Research security and risk analyst. As CTO, she is responsible for the Labs team investigating and prototyping innovative approaches to solving customers’ identity challenges, along with driving ForgeRock’s industry standards leadership. She hopes her duties still leave time to contribute to the rock ‘n’ roll outfit ZZ Auth and the Love Tokens.

As CrowdStrike’s Senior Vice President of Intelligence, Adam Meyers leads the Threat Intelligence line of business for the company. Meyers directs a geographically dispersed team of cyber threat experts tracking criminal, state-sponsored, and nationalist cyber adversary groups across the globe and producing actionable intelligence to protect customers. He oversees the development and deployment of AI, machine learning, reverse engineering, natural language processing, and other technologies to detect suspicious and malicious cyber behavior and stop increasingly sophisticated adversaries. Meyers’ work in combining human intelligence and intelligence derived from technology continues to transform cybersecurity.

Meyers works closely with other departments within CrowdStrike to ensure the smooth and speedy integration of intelligence into CrowdStrike’s entire lineup of products and services. His team brings unprecedented insights into the activities of cyber threat actors, providing strategic and technical guidance to Fortune 100 businesses, major financial institutions, key government agencies, and other CrowdStrike customers. SC Magazine recently honored CrowdStrike’s record of achievement under Meyers with the 2019 Trust Award for Best Threat Intelligence Technology. Almost every week you will see Myers commenting on recent cyber threats and cyber attacks in leading broadcast, print, and online media.

Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the George Washington University where he studied Political Science, and Computer Science.

David Royer is the Director, Enterprise Risk & Compliance for Best Buy Canada where he is responsible for the protection of Best Buy’s information and computing resources. He manages the function’s overall strategy and operation, including cyber controls; threat and incident response; cybersecurity services; security assessments, architecture and integration – enhancing the security of Best Buy’s services and infrastructures.

David’s 25 years in the technology sector includes leadership security roles at Taleo, TELUS and Ritchie Bros. He is also currently serving on the Cybersecurity Advisory Board for NYIT.

David has earned the Dale Carnegie Highest Award of Achievement. He holds both CISM and CGEIT certifications, and is a graduate of Laval University with a degree in Chemistry.

Sonny Sarai is the Sr. Manager of Information Security and Technical Infrastructure for Save-On-Foods. Sonny has over 12 years experience in the Information Security field. His career has progressed from providing application support to managing the infrastructure and information security program for a large organization.

Sonny is a proven professional and leader who specializes in security, privacy, and compliance.  He has been a strong contributor in increasing the security posture of every organization he has been involved with. Sonny strongly believes that one of IT’s important role is to enable the business. Building and fostering relationships within the business and IT has contributed to his success in this area.

As SVP and Standards Officer, Ms. Sutcliffe is responsible for delivering the PCI SSC security standards, leading a team of payment security experts dedicated to the security of the payment ecosystem. Ms. Sutcliffe joined the Council in 2010 and has held several positions during that time, including Chair of the Technical Working Group, 3-D Secure Working Group, and Tokenization Working Group. She works closely with PCI Payment Brand and Affiliate members to develop PCI SSC’s global portfolio of standards, supporting documentation, and guidance to facilitate understanding and adoption of secure payment practices. Ms. Sutcliffe has over 20 years’ experience in the field of information security, is a current CISA, CISM and CISSP, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business – Hospitality Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Information Security.
